伊江上游水电有限责任公司向缅甸水患灾区提供5000万缅币捐助（中英缅）

    8月11日上午10时，缅甸伊江上游水电有限责任公司（以下称“伊江公司”）向受水患影响的灾区民众提供了5000万缅币的救助捐款。捐赠仪式在缅甸电力部会议厅举行，伊江上游水电开发有限公司副总经理王琪代表公司向电力部部长吴钦貌梭表达了对缅甸受灾民众的深切慰问，委托部长向灾区转交企业捐款5000万缅币。

    王总表示，缅甸所遭受的特大洪涝灾害，我们感同身受，心急如焚，天灾无情人有情，危难面前见真情，伊江公司将与缅甸人民一道抗洪救灾，共建灾后家园。吴钦貌梭感谢称，中国政府和中资企业在缅甸遭受水灾后的第一时间为灾区人民提供了必要的帮助，感谢公司积极支持缅甸人民抗洪救灾，伊江公司的善行将增强灾区人民战胜灾害的信心，电力部会尽快将善款交付灾区。

    伊江上游水电公司2010 年于内比都注册成立以来，始终奉行“友好合作，互利共赢”的原则，以推动缅甸电力工业发展为目标，积极贡献缅甸社会、经济发展，兼顾国家发展、企业利益、百姓实惠，积极在缅履行企业社会责任，多次为风灾、火灾、地震及贫困人口捐款捐物。此前，该公司2008年向纳吉斯风暴受害者捐款1亿缅币；2011年向掸邦北部地震受害者期间捐款5千万缅币。

The Upstream Ayeyawady Confluence basin Hydropower Co.,Ltd. donates 50 million kyats to Myanmar flood-affected regions

    On August 11, at 10 am, the Upstream Ayeyawady Confluence basin Hydropower Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "ACHC") provides 50 million kyats flood-relief donations to the people affected by the floods in disaster area. Donation ceremony was held in the conference room of Ministry of Electric Power of Republic of Myanmar (MOEP). Mr. Wang Qi, ACHC’s vice president, on behalf of ACHC expressed to the Minister U Khin Maung Soe his deep sympathy for the affected residents, and entrust minister to deliver the donations to the disaster area.

    Mr. Wang Qi said that Myanmar has been suffered by catastrophic floods, we worried and felt empathy, revealed love among the people in natural disasters and dangers, ACHC will work together with the Myanmar people to resist flooding, and rebuild their homeland after disaster. The Minister reacted and thanked the Chinese government and Chinese enterprises for their helps in the flooding-relief, ACHC has actively supported the Myanmar people to relieve flood, the good deeds of ACHC will enhance the people's confidence of winning over the disaster, and MOEP will deliver the donation to the disaster areas as soon as possible.

ACHC was registered in 2010 in Naypyidaw (joint-venture company share held by China Power investment Yunnan international company, MOEP, and Asia World Company), which pursues the principle of "friendly cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win", to promote the     development of electric power industry, and makes contributions to Myanmar social-economic development, with considering the mutual benefits of national development, corporation and people, attaches importance to fulfilling corporate social responsibility (CSR) actively, several times donates to relieve disasters in Myanmar, for example, in 2008 ACHC has donated 100 million kyats for nargis cyclone victims, in 2011 it has donated 50 million kyat for earthquake victims in northern Shan state, etc.
